My father was aboard Derbyshire as Chief Puser during all the ‘landings’. I guess that the photo was taken as she lay in the Clyde before taking on troops and landing craft (I could be oh so wrong !). The ship was involved in landings to North Africa, Salerno and Anzio. Great image – Thank you.
