My blog contains mini-histories and photos of 2170 ships loaded in a random order. But FOR JUST £20 you can have a pdf copy of my database in launch date order. It is a data listing of liners, ferries, cruise and troop ships; every passenger carrying ship over 10000 tons dating from 1858 to the newbuilds of today. I will also provide an excel spreadsheet of links against every ship which will either take you to more detailed sites for past ships, the Marine Traffic page for the current vessel and to my blog for the photos. No.257 Ausonia launched in 1915
11,300grt for for Società Italiana di Servizi Marittimi (SITMAR) from Blohm & Voss, Hamburg There were plans to convert her to an aircraft carrier. Never completed, broken up in 1922
No.5 Campania launched 1892
12,950grt for Cunard Line by Fairfield, Glasgow. Sank off Edinburgh in 1918 after her refit as an aircraft carrier during The Great War
