13,326grt for Union-Castle Line by Harland & Wolff, Belfast

During WW2 she was moored at Freetown in Sierra Leone to accommodate survivors of sunk ships. After the war, was deemed uneconomic to return her to the UK. She was sunk as a target west of Freetown in 1945
